A notification as CAT 2018 is revealed for the aspirants who are looking to take admission in management school. Indian Institute of Management, Indore or IIM Indore is going to conduct Common Admission Test (CAT) for the admission in MBA in all IIMs and several other leading management institutes of India. Earning an MBA degree that too from IIMs or any other reputed management institutes in India is considered as a golden pass to the international business world. Looking at this scenario, the Government of India emphasizes more on a complete and transparent selection criteria. In order to select superior talent, Ministry of HRD conceptualized the CAT exam. CAT stands for Common Admission Test. It is conducted by the six IIMs as a national level entrance test in selecting students for their business administration program at the Masters level. With the help of this pre-requisite candidates are judged in five broad areas i.e. Verbal ability & reasoning, reading comprehension, quantitative skills, data interpretation and analytical & logical reasoning. There are the best institutes comes under the IIM. IIM-I has introduced some major changes to the CAT examination pattern. Details regarding CAT 2020

IIM Indore has proposed some major changes to the examination pattern of CAT to make it more appropriate for the aspirants. • The time period of CAT 2019 has been increased by 30 minutes – from 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes) to 170 minutes (2 hours 50 minutes). • Offline submission has been canceled. • The numbers of questions in quantitative ability and data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning sections has been increased from 30 to 50. • There will be only online payment for MBA in CAT. Fee must be submitted through credit card, debit card or net banking. • CAT examination will be held online so will be allowed to switch from one section to another as they like. Therefore they will be able to handle the examination as they want time across. • Now there will be no window period in IIM-I. There will be only two days examination. • Now there will be 354 examination centers across 99 cities for CAT 2018. • Aspirants are allowed to select three options of examination cities.
